Frozen Gourmet Lunch

A happy discovery in the frozen food section – Vegetable Souffle!

I purchased this box of broccoli souffle at my local supermarket the other day for $4.50. After trying it for the first time today at lunch, I must give it a two thumbs up! It’s quick, easy and delicious though a bit on the sweet side. I would have liked to add a squirt of Sriracha or Tabasco sauce.

So I popped it into a glass Tupperware and microwaved it for 5 minutes.  The souffle is about 4 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. It’s made with all natural ingredients that’s been frozen upon the completion of the cooking process. The flavor is good and it’s just the right portion. 140 calories with 11 grams of protein! Because it’s also puffed up with air, it helps to promote the feeling of being full.

Here’s more info on the Garden Lite website along with a coupon for $1 off!

I can’t wait to try the roasted vegetable one I have at home!
